ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We acknowledge and accept that waste is an inevitable by-product from the printing industry. However, we recognise the importance of recycling and sustainability. We take responsibility for this by setting clear and realistic environmental targets:

• Reducing the amount of waste going to landfill and incineration
• Conserving finite resources
• Promoting environmentally friendly waste disposal

We continually review our product processes to minimise levels of waste. We use the most environmentally friendly pre-press processes, which have eliminated the need for chemicals. We dispose of what little waste we have by a licensed waste management company, which is then recycled or disposed of safely.

We re-use or recycle materials and products such as pallets, paper off cuts and packaging whenever possible. All our waste paper trimmings are recycled and none go to landfill. Off cuts of paper are donated to local schools and nurseries.

We only use wood pulp papers which are manufactured from sustainable and managed forests, and where possible we encourage the use of paper with recycled content or with the FSC accreditation.

We only operate modern delivery vehicles which meet all current emission legislation and we plan orders to minimise transportation.
